It starts with our host, Carleigh, who demonstrated prompt and superior communication skills. Her attention to details made everything work flawlessly, including check in and check out. The property sits on nine beautifully maintained acres next to a creek in the backyard. We were there for Thanksgiving holiday, a time when leaves have dropped and cover everything. What a nice surprise to arrive to a manicured and clean property. The house was immaculate, the kitchen fully equipped and the furnishings comfortable and accommodating. We all enjoyed the pool room, the puzzles and games, and the outdoor sights. It's a short drive to Glenwood Springs which features all sorts of things to do. If you are planning to stay in or near New Castle, Colorado, Creekside Retreat is the place to be.

Location was beautiful and so very peaceful with the creek out back. House was clean, with all of the necessities. We enjoyed the game room, playing pool and the family games that were provided. We will definitely look to stay there again, when back on that area of Colorado!

Carleigh is the best host I’ve had - very responsive and easy to work with! Location is awesome. We made a few big meals and had all the essential tools we needed for preparing those. Nearly everything here exceeded our expectations! Our only issue is that we were using it for a large group of adult women, and we couldn’t tell from pics that there is no door on the master bath, so logistics were a bit challenging. We made it work, but IMO, the set-up here is probably better suited to a family or maybe 2-3 couples.
