Wonderful cozy cabin! loved the sound of the river at night and the beautiful fireplace! Would love to stay again.

Layout good, beds comfy. House is “unique" but older and needs maintenance. First impression - oven did not work (despite instructions). Owner offered help right away, but we used toaster oven instead. Several dishes badly chipped and dirty with food. NOTE: no dishwasher or disposal = RV camping. You might not realize this until after booking and are asked to sign a “Advance rent request and lease agreement” with specific info on house and rules (odd). Cabin needs some TLC. Cobwebs, outlets that don’t hold plugs, wall paint repair, tub shower head. Some "well-loved" furniture to be fixed/replaced, and very old and wonky kitchen cabinet doors. Fridge & Microwave looked new, worked well/clean. Exterior had broken gutters strewn around, rotting leaves covering rock patio, fence rungs falling, tire swing gone (just dangling ropes). No nice place to walk dog but main road with cars. Enjoyed wildlife and local activities. To spend 1K+ for 3 nights we expected more and were disappointed.

This is a cozy cabin. Our family enjoyed the stay. Location is a bit far out, but definitely experienced the remote/West feel.

Charity is an excellent host. She answered all our questions and requests in a simple and efficient way. The cabin is something sensational, the perfect gateway. The cabin is wonderful, and the location is fantastic. everything in the house is decorated with great care and the only thing you need to do is relax and enjoy your stay.
