Rhonda and Bob are the best hosts! From the initial booking to arriving and spending the weekend at Spirit Bear Lake, they were so accommodating with excellent communication throughout. The property is just beautiful and the apartment was so cute and beautifully decorated with bear themed touches everywhere. The entire stay was so peaceful, relaxing, and comfortable with a complimentary bottle of wine to top off a perfect stay at one of our favorite Airbnb's yet. Do not hesitate to book this little slice of heaven right in Virginia Beach!

My partner and I loved our stay and I would highly recommend the place. The place is clean, serene and even better than shown in the pictures. Personally, this trip will always be memorable because Bob taught me how to fish <3!!! And my partner loved her Birthday weekend getaway! Thanks to the family for an amazing experience, I cant wait to be back!

Such great folks. We wish we had met them before nearly time to leave. Really enjoyed talking with them for a bit. The place was great. Very quiet and peaceful. Right in the center of town but you'd never know it. Beautiful location on the lake. Nothing negative to report or to complain about. We would definitely go back!

Beautiful location, the place is amazing and looks even better in person than in the pictures! The hosts are super friendly and make you feel right at home, we'll definitely be back if we are in Virginia Beach again!

We absolutely loved our stay with Rhonda and Bob. We are a family of 4 with a dog, and had plenty of space in the apartment. It was beautiful, clean, and well equipped. We used 4 kayaks for a fun little family activity, and enjoyed a bonfire with s’mores right on the lake. It was a very convenient location for everything we were in town to do. Also, easy access for an Uber if needed. We definitely hope to come back for a longer stay.
