This cabin matches the listing photos. Plenty space for two couples. Insanely close river access (2-3 minute stroll to the other end of the property). It had what we needed, plan to use the charcoal grill, it’s clean and in good condition! Tons of firewood available for the fire pit too! Took us about 20 minutes to arrive at the Swift Run entrance of the park, where we had one of the best days! Renters are responsible for trash removal, bear in mind the closest dump (while easily accessible) is 8 mins away and closed on Sundays, which can pose an issue. Overall a great stay, even with a little rain!

This location was the perfect quiet getaway. The front porch and riverfront deck were wonderful. the cozy cabin was perfect for feeling like you're away from everything. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone looking to get away from the hustle and bustle.

Cliff and Barb were very friendly, responsive, and helpful hosts. Their place was clean, comfortable, beautiful, and surrounded by nature (my husband saw a Piliated Woodpecker and we both saw an Eastern Phebe). We enjoyed having meals at the riverside deck, making fire, and reading and relaxing while on their property. We also enjoyed hiking at Shenandoah National Park a couple times. Their kitchen was well stocked, even with some spices. In their guest book the hosts suggested Rose River Trail in the Park, which we found gorgeous! Thank you, Cliff and Barb, for making your wonderful place available!

Cliff’s cabin was a quiet getaway and a great base for exploring Shenandoah National Park and the local area. Peaceful and clean rural cabin on the river. Appreciated his advice on getting passes for Old Rag Mountain and local sites. He even delivered a sunny day when we asked for it!

Cliff and Barb were responsive and friendly. Their place was a perfect location to enjoy the natural beauty of the Shenandoah and Blue Ridge Mountains. The cabin feels remote but it is easy to access. Very quick walk down the driveway and across a small plot to reach the River, which was gorgeous. They have no trash service (which makes sense due to the secluded nature of the location) so you have to pack out whatever trash you create. The garbage drop off location is a quick drive and super simple to accomplish. We would certainly recommend it to anyone and would stay there next time we visit the area.
