Camp Squid has a strong emotional vibe. No frills, but lots of friendliness and kindness. Kendra is a wonderful host who had live music, fire pit and a 4th of July Spirit for all visitors. Recommend for those who are seeking something different than the usual old things when traveling.

We arrived a little later than expected but that was no problem for Kendra. She graciously greeted us with a cold drink and then a thorough tour of the property. She listened to our needs and found us the perfect spot. The shower was nice and warm and the outhouses were super clean. She has a charging station as well and provided us with a propane lantern. We brought all of our gear but she has things there as well if you forgot something. The stars were amazing and so so so clear. We were able to see the comet clearly!! We can't wait to return.
