Absolutely stunning!!! The view from this perfect room was worth our entire trip to Guatemala. Anibel is the host and he was incredible. Anibel helped us get Tuk Tuks to Panajachel, which was a 15 minute ride that cost 60 Quetzales ($~7.50 USD). Cash Only...come with cash in hand. We had dinner every night across the street at the Casa Palopo at the super fancy hotel Relais and Chateau. About a 10 minute walk. VERY dark on the way home so use your cell phone light. Dinner was absolutely excellent. About $115 USD a night and well worth it. Stunning view and service. Everything else shopping and food wise is a Tuk Tuk ride away. Wouldn't walk far. Lots of traffic. We loved our room, very comfortable, and the hammock was my favorite...maybe tied with reading my book at the kitchen table while drinking my morning coffee. Also appreciated the filtered water bottle in the room. Will stay here again I am sure!

Desiree's place was beautiful and peaceful. The views of the lake are spectacular and made breakfast, lunch, and dinner from the terrace a pleasure each day. We coordinated a private chef through the host Anibal's recommendation. Leticia is an amazing cook who prepared fresh meals daily for us. Anibal was a 5-star co-host and was very communicative, supportive, and accommodating. Highly recommend!

The place is really nice; cute wooden cabin, great bed, big shower, clean little kitchen, amazing view of the lake. We could use the dock below to swim in the lake. Anibal was very responsive and helpful! However, I think it is too expensive for what you get.
