We had a very relaxed stay here and our host (who lives next door) was very friendly and responsive. The only little things that could be improved : there is no basic cooking ingredients available like oil or salt & pepper. We asked the host but it was not possible to get some, so we had to go and buy these supplies at the store. It would also be good to announce the extra fees in the main description: we had to pay 184€ extra for our week-end. The fees cover cleaning and services like bed sheets but no towels for instance which would be useful to include for the sauna etc. Overall we are still very happy with our experience :)

Der Aufenthalt im Bird Nest war traumhaft. Die umgebene Natur eignet sich super für lange Spaziergänge. Der Hot Tub und die Sauna geben einem richtiges Urlaubsfeeling. Man muss allerdings genug Zeit zum Vorheizen einplanen (ca 3-4h).

Die Unterkunft war sehr schön und sauber. Der Pool braucht aber etwas länger um warm zu werden als beschrieben (ca 3 Stunden) Da ich in anderen Rezensionen gelesen hatte das in der Küche nicht alles vorhanden ist wie z.B Besteck, Geschirr etc. hatten wir noch welches mit gebracht. Dies war aber vollkommen unnötig da alles was man braucht vorhanden ist. Also insgesamt ist es eine schöne sehr gemütliche ruhige Unterkunft zum entspannen.

The Bird Nest is perfectly located (not as secluded as you might think, but from the front of the house, where the big window is, you see nothing but trees and fields -- a beautiful view). Great staring point for hikes! It's nicely decorated and Manu (the owner) is very communicative, flexible and friendly. Make sure to read the small print before you book, because there is 134 EUR to be paid in cash upon arrival (for 2 people and 2 nights, that is), and this extra sum is not visible in the bill or the Airbnb preview of what you will have to pay.
