Truly stunning little cottage in Uist. The most beautiful surroundings and views are stunning, lovely sourdough bread provided by Jacqueline fresh in the morning and she also helped us find someone to look after our dog. Everything was 5 star, only thing missing would maybe be a floor length mirror but that was such a minor thing it most definitely is still 5 star all round

Jacqueline was a very lovely host and so responsive and accommodating. Easter Byre was gorgeous and well put together. It was also spotless and cosy. It honoured the building’s original structure and design well and it had a personal touch. Her husband was very lovely and very helpful when we arrived. The views were gorgeous and I’ll definitely be back! Thank you!

Without a doubt, Easter Byre is the best Airbnb we have ever stayed in, and we want to return as soon as we can. The 'welcome pack' was very much appreciated, especially the homemade sourdough bread. Everything at Easter Byre is of the highest quality, from bedlinen through to kitchen utensils. The kitchen is better equipped than our own! The space has been well thought out and feels light and airy, but also cosy when the temperature dropped in the evenings. One such evening, we made use of the peat fire, a first for us, and loved the experience. We also loved the bathroom with its great shower, drying rack and underfloor heating. The bed was extremely comfortable, which is very important for us. The location was absolutely ideal for our expeditions each day, and upon arrival, we were welcomed by a female hen harrier quartering the field in front of Easter Byre. What a welcome! If you like nature, walking and peace, this is the perfect place to stay.

We had a wonderful stay and Jacqueline and John made us feel at home as soon as we arrived.They were very accommodating which we really appreciated. The cottage is very comfortable and has everything you need. The surprises kept on coming with fresh bread and lobster. It was lovely to open our door every morning and see the wonderful views . A walk to the local beach is a must. The location is fantastic and we would highly recommend , we will be recommending to all our friends and family. Thank you for an amazing holiday.

The setting of the cottage is fantastic and the whole place is a beautiful and modern conversion of a historic farm building. We would recommend staying here to anyone visiting the area.
