We had a wonderful week at Wester Byre. The property is stunning inside & out. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you could possibly think of. The bed was so comfy we slept so well. A great base for exploring the island Fantastic views from the living room watching the sunset was a bonus. We highly recommend Wester Byre & would not hesitate to stay here again. Thank you for letting us stay a very memorable holiday for us.

This is a wonderful property- one of the best holiday properties we have ever stayed in. We had plans to see and do lots on the islands but found that we were content to spend time in and around the byre. It is such a comfortable and relaxing place to be and lots of great walking from the door. The beach just 15 minutes walk away is amazing and I think we only saw one other person on it all week. The property is furnished to an incredibly high standard and has lovely views. The weather was very mixed during our week but we honestly didn’t care. The wind and rain gave us an excuse to stay in! When we did venture further afield we found more beautiful beaches, amazing colours in the heathery hills and moors and friendly people. Great local amenities with the Bayhead shop, the Dunes Cabin and the Westford Inn. Thanks Jacqueline and John for a lovely holiday - and most welcome sourdough! We hope to come back very soon.

Wester Byre lived up to our expectations and is a fantastic and central location to explore the Outer Hebrides. We travelled the length and breadth of the islands...as far north as the Butt of Lewis one day and as far south as Vatersay another. Other days were spent relaxing in and around the Uists with perfect, empty beaches around every corner. The hosts were lovely and Jacqueline's freshly baked sourdough a delight ! The accommodation was to a very high quality and we would not hesitate in returning.
