We had a lovely time staying at Dunganachy, the surroundings are beautiful with lovely views out the windows. The house is also well equipped for two people to work in, with WiFi and two tables in separate rooms. Sally was really accommodating to last minute changes of plan and was very responsive whenever I reached out.

Great stay at this cottage. Lovely and cosy and in a great position for exploring the locality. We had car problems while there and having a garage at Balivanich just 5 mins away was brilliant!

Sally’s cottage was quaint and characterful. It is very quiet and only a 2 min walk to Charlie’s Bistro, which serves excellent food and close to the amenities in Balivanich. The double bed was very comfy and the shower was great. It was also lovely to sit in the garden and watch the birds on the loch on an evening. However, the cottage needs a really good deep clean, the carpets are thick with dust in places, and a proper clean in between stays. There was still food stuck on the plates. Empty shower gel and washing up liquid were left. The tea towels were ragged & stained, as was a bath towel. It was good we had brought our own towels etc. The sheets/duvet cover have also seen better days, especially on the sofa bed. The bedroom window was cracked and there is no washing line. If the cottage is given some real love and a really good clean this could be a great place to stay but as it is, we sadly cannot overlook the uncleanliness.

We had a very enjoyable and relaxing stay at Sally's cottage. It is cosy, well-equipped, and has lovely views. Lots of wildlife on Benbecula, the East side is very wild and beautiful. It's also in a good location for visiting North and South Uist.

Alles da was man so braucht, tolle Einzellage, umzäunter Garten mit vielen freundlichen muhenden und mähenden Nachbarn :)
