Barbie's ranch property is magical. Only a few miles from the 101 Freeway, yet feels a world apart (in a great way). Dozens and dozens of animals friendly and roaming the property. Barbie told us all about them and we got to interact with them as much as we wanted. Enjoyed her wine she gave us upon arrival and just gazed at the glorious surroundings the entire time (inluding lakes, vineyard, hills, gorgeous trees, barns, gazebos, etc. Slept GREAT in the peace and quiet away from the city lights. We needed this getaway and we plan to return thank you for a very special stay. See you again soon Barbie! -Chris and Suzanne

I found myself wanting to pinch myself to check whether I am alive, or just dreaming. This place is magical, serene, a relaxation haven. The beautiful grounds are kept impeccably. The animals are naturally content. And the house is luxuriously comfortable—tons of throws and pillows and tasteful adornments. There is an ample supply of towels and kitchenware and every appliance you can wish for. And it is apparent that our host, Barbie, has gone out of her way to make sure you feel at home—there’s coffee and tea and sweets and wine and farm-fresh eggs and a tour of the ranch and introduction to the animals. Do yourself a favor, come here and unwind from all the hustle and bustle of your busy life.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this stunning farm with my family and I must say it was a truly amazing experience. Our host welcomed us warmly and showed us around the property, which was beautifully designed and maintained. We were delighted to see that there were plenty of animals on the farm. It was so much fun for the kids to be able to interact with the animals and learn more about them. Our host even gifted us with two bottles of delicious red wine that we thoroughly enjoyed as we watched the sun go down. Thank you so much to our wonderful host for providing us with an unforgettable experience!

This place is actually a "hidden gem". Tucked away in the hills while being conveniently close to civilization (Gilroy). This is the most well-stocked AirBnB in my opinion. If we'd had trusted the host and other former guests from the reviews, we wouldn't have had to carry so many things. The guesthouse is about a quarter mile away from where the host stays. That gives you excellent privacy. Barbie, is extremely responsive and always available over chat. She gave a good tour soon after we arrived at the location. We spent most of the day outdoors looking at the amazing flora and fauna at the ranch. Throughout the day, you'll only hear birds chirping and cawing. This was a much needed break for me, personally. Our toddler had a gala time as well.

This ranch felt like we were living in a dream paradise. So many different animals to meet. So many acres of land to explore.
