Amazing place to stay. Light and airy but cosey. Me and my little god enjoyed our stay so close to all the hikes we wanted to do. They left us wine and ginger biscuits as an added touch and some dog treats. We will be returning

We really enjoyed our stay at Black Mesa for 5 nights. A really comfortable house with everything you could want from an Air B&B. The location was fabulous for exploring the stunning Ullswater area and beyond! We took our 9 year old daughter and 2 year old labrador, and both settled in and loved it too! Handy dog bed and accessories. The bed was extremely comfortable and the welcome pack and instructions were very helpful and accurate. We would love to stay again when visiting the Lakes and would recommend it to anyone. We didn't meet Charley, however Andy was friendly and welcoming. The hosts live next door, however they very much keep to themselves. Although we felt that if we had any issues they were there if we needed them. Thank you very much for a lovely stay!

Really amazing place to stay! We loved it with our two dogs! Incredibly reasonably priced for such a large space, and an ideal location right on the edge of the Lakes with great access to the fells! So many amenities and cupboards full of everything we could need. Lovely treats on arrival too. Couldn’t be more grateful to have found this place! Andrew and Charley were brilliant hosts!

Amazing place, lovely and clean and great to come back to after a long day of walking. Nice quiet village also. Highly recommended.
