Absolutely perfect: A short walk from the beach and Poseidon spa, and a ~25 minute walk along the ocean to the nearest town, Forio. The apartment is delightful, with a beautiful outdoor patio with ocean views. We even had some regular local feline visitors. The hosts are friendly, responsive and happy to go the extra mile to help find local restaurants and bookings. Strongly recommended for anybody looking for some peace and quiet, and a great base to explore Ischia.

We came on our honeymoon and had such a wonderful time! Lots to do walking, and Vito helped us rent a scooter that was dropped off at the house, which was absolutely beautiful and spotless. Great view, very clean, we most certainly recommend.

Beautiful and clean place. Very easy to access with the bus and Maria’s son even drove us to the port at check out. He was very accommodating throughout our stay. There is a beautiful view from the balcony and bedroom. We would definitely come back and stay again!

Maria and Vito's apartment is clean, bright and beautiful with windows and beautiful veranda looking out over the sea. It is close to amazing beaches, the thermal baths and gardens of Poseidon and many other attractions. Vito was a really wonderful host. He picked us up, brought us to the market and helped us get a scooter and car. He directed us to some amazing sights. We can not say enough about this most memorable stay and a most kind and generous host!

We had a wonderful stay at Maria's. The house was immaculate and looked just as the photos described. The view from the terrace was breathtaking and we used it for our al fresco dining everyday. The is a short path to the beach, Poseidon Thermal Baths, and a mini market that had all our needs only a 5 minute walk away. Maria is a lovely person and her son Vito was very helpful to book our boat excursion and seafood restaurant that he personally goes to so it was a real recommendation. I miss the place already and in my opinion Forio is the best place othe island to stay as I had been in Port d'Ischia on my last visit and so have something to compare it to. There is a bus stop close to the house but I definitely recommend renting a car while you're there as Maria had the parking space and it is a much more convenient way to get around the island to see all that Ischia has to offer. I highly recommend Maria's place to stay on your visit there!
