This is possibly THE cleanest accommodation I have ever stayed in, which is great when you bring a baby along like we did. everything we needed was there, and the friendly hosts answered any questions via the app within minutes. We felt very welcome and at home in this lovely house and hope to stay again in the future.

Spent a month staying here with my children while having building work done. Home is as quirky and unique as in the photos! Lovely location in Ottery, with the weir just behind the house and the shops and park so close by. We enjoyed being able to walk everywhere, and kids enjoyed visiting the library (which had free jigsaws to borrow). Parking is in nearby roads, and I was always able to find a space. Simon and Mandy were very quick to respond to any messages. Sadly we kept missing each other and I didn’t get a chance to meet Mandy, but she was great at popping notes through the door and reminding me of the bin days!

Lovely little cosy cottage. Spotlessly clean. Super responsive, helpful hosts. Spacious main bedroom. Road outside is noisy during the day, but very quiet at night. The beds are strangely short - i'm 5'4" and my feet were hanging off the end but otherwise was king size width (2 singles zipped together) and super comfy. Kitchen well equipped and there are all sorts of charming vintage details throughout the property.

Simons house was like travelling back in time, very clean especially the bedding. I took my mum 87yrs, and said it reminded her of her childhood. Everything you need was there, we didn’t miss anything. Our only little grumble was the garden, it was very untidy and we would have liked to have sat outside, but it wasn’t very appealing. Also the stairs are not suitable for the elderly/ disabled my mum struggled. The parking was an issue everyday for us, as Simon did say parking across the road and up the hill, and that I can drop belongings off then go to park but we never got close at all, my car was completely out of sight up the hill and around the corner and I spent time looking for a space everyday. I did need to contact Simon for advice when I arrived and he answered straight away.

My American guests thought Simon's place was amazing and that Simon was very good at responding to queries and sorting out matters arising It is very well located in Ottery St Mary and I would recommend this property in a heartbeat.
