Had a great stay

This place is bare and basic. Okay for an overnight although one of us (adults) had to sleep in a twin size bed as it was incorrectly described. We barely got communication from the host and there is no information in the space at all. Again, fine for a night and a shower.

Sonia's place was very comfortable and a great place to stay as we had an early morning flight out of Westchester Airport. Sonia and her family made us feel right at home. We will return.

Sonia is a lovely senior who I gathered is relatively new to airbnb. Her place is upstairs from her own home and is spacious and comfortable. Although it was clean I need to mention that there is a noticeable ‘woodsy’ scent. This wasn’t a big problem for me but it was an issue for my daughter who is quite sensitive to these things. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not a foul odour but more like a ‘cabin’ scent that I forgot about soon after arriving. There is lots of street parking but we were there Easter weekend so obviously there were times when parking was a bit tricky but we managed fine. Sonia was very friendly and welcoming, even leaving a note to help ourselves to anything in pantry, which we did! She even had my favourite Starbucks coffee! She was very respectful of our privacy and seemed concerned that we were comfortable and had everything we needed.
