Une chouette maison très chaleureuse et très bien équipée. Espaces bien organisés, équipements récents et propres tout en gardant une décoration authentique. On se croirait vraiment dans sa propre maison de famille. L’espace de jeux pour les enfants dans le grenier ainsi que le jardin fermé sont vraiment des plus. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir !

Zeer ruim huis voorzien van werkelijk alles! Het mooie, recent aangelegde terras, bereikbaar vanuit de keuken is echt een meerwaarde. Rustige tuin. Uitzicht op de weiden. Het klokkengeluid van het mooie kerkje Saint-Pierre in Jamoigne is hoorbaar. Heerlijk koel te houden tijdens de hitte ; aangenaam en gezellig bij regenweer of avondkilte. Oude foto’s en oude gebruiksvoorwerpen zorgen voor een charmante, familiale sfeer. Heerlijke bedden. De auto kan vlakbij geplaatst worden. Goede uitvalsbasis om de Gaumestreek te verkennen. In- en uitchecken door een heel vriendelijke dame.

The care and love with which this house is being restored and maintained can only speak of a deep connection with its history. Evidently, the essence is a much loved family home as the many family antiques bear witness too. It is so much more than a sterile family vacation house; it is a home with its long family history still bathing you with long forgotten memories of hazy summer afternoons shaded by the prune tree - reading a book or being in the kitchen making jams with summer fruits. While the sounds of kids playing in the garden with one of the many toys and games present in the house tells you that all is well in this moment. This house has all the modern conveniences up to a high level to make it very comfortable and easy to live in, with enough space for those seeking moments of solitude and privacy too.. we loved our stay, we loved the personality of this house, we loved the freshly starched bed linen, we loved sitting out under the full moon on the gorgeous deck. We loved the quirkiness of all the antiques still in use and on display everywhere. We loved the abundance of the large original kitchen cupboards, filled up to the brim with kitchen appliances, tableware and country table linens for us to enjoy. It was a memorable family weekend for us with all our children and grandson… this house is where memories are made to last.
