It was a nice place to stay. It does say it’s under construction. Which it is. 300 for a room though is a bit much. It was pretty loud, could hear people when walking by talking and next door. The soaking tubs are very crowded and loud. I can see this idea coming together and working at some point. Definitely overpriced though for what it has to offer at this point in time.
Though still under refurbishment, this historic location was charming and relaxing. Our room was clean and comfortable. The pools were refreshing and relaxing. The scenery was spectacular as we watched a storm roll by. This place is gaining in popularity during day use time, the pools can get somewhat crowded. Looking forward to Hot Lakes adding more pools in the future! Great place to meet new & interesting people from all over!
Great place to stop on 84 enroute for a soak or overnight. Comfy bed, great sheets. Good vibes. A little pricey, but if you arrive early and stay late, you can maximize soak time. Bring your own food. But no fridge in the rooms.
We're located in rural Eastern Oregon, 5 miles from Interstate 84. La Grande has been described as a "hidden gem", which offers up an authentic experience in an area that hasn't been "discovered" by most. If you decide to venture farther, we are a short day trip away from Pendleton, Baker City and Joseph.
You will need transportation to our location and to get around the area. No public transportation is available to our property.
