The cabin is as pictured. The cleanliness was the biggest issue. Squished bloody mosquitoes on the ceiling, dead ladybugs and dirt on the floors, someone’s frozen underwear and socks beside the hot tub, etc. The fireplace didn’t work, I let the host know, but there was no resolution. The space itself has a lot of potential, but the cleanliness was a huge dealbreaker for us, unfortunately.

This cottage and the location was lovely. I really enjoyed it at this time of yearly as it seemed that we have the whole area to ourselves. We have wonderful bonfires in the evenings and nice long soaks in the community hot tub. During the day there were was lovely trails to walk.

We wished we loved our stay a bit more than we did but I think the first night really made a huge impact. I had to ask Bonnie for the check in instructions at 4pm as we would be leaving around 6pm and she said she mustve sent them to the wrong number. When we arrived, the street was pitch black and we couldnt see the numbers on the cabins. Once we found it, myself and the kids went in to find lady beetles everywhere. In the kitchen. All over the dining table/chairs and windows. On the curtains. All over the rug and couch. We were swatting and vacuuming beetles the entire first night and then less often throughout the weekend. While my husband was unloading our vehicle, the people in the cabin next to us approached him asking if we had spoken to Bonnie because the lockbox code was changed and they couldnt get a hold of her. On the Saturday, we couldnt get the jets to work on the shared hot tub and we heard from her til about 2 hours later. Faster communication would have helped our stay
