This is one of the most wonderful properties we have had the opportunity to visit. The house was perfect for our Thanksgiving away from home. The open great room and kitchen accommodated all the cooks and diners and let us spend the prep time, feast time, and after dinner snooze time together. The weather was Chamber of Commerce perfect and the kids were able to swim, fish, kayak, and paddle board from the dock on the property. The only feature better than the house was Kim and her family. We squeezed an Alabama football game into our weekend and Kim shared the parking and run of the house at her Bed and Breakfast within easy walking distance of the stadium. She was wonderfully gracious and greeted us with coffee and Cokes, cookies, and restroom facilities. It was an amazing plus for the tired but happy crowd after another Bama win. For a beautiful and peaceful place on Lake Tuscaloosa just minutes from the Alabama campus, this is your destination. Thanks again to Kim and ROLL TIDE!

Our family had a wonderful weekend at Water Oaks Lake House! My daughter graduated from the University of Alabama and we had lots of family attending from out of town. This was the perfect place to gather, relax and celebrate. It was approximately a 30 minute easy drive from campus and we could all be together - not in separate hotel rooms. The house was amazing! Even more spacious than the pictures. It was decorated for UA and our family had a blast The lake was so scenic and the firepit was absolutely perfect in the evening to gather. Our host Kim was so wonderful and answered me via text with any questions. We didn't have to bring anything - we cooked all of our meals at the house and the grill was in excellent condition. Beds were comfy too! I wish i had found this place earlier when my daughter was attending school. It was so nice! Highly recommend. You will be super happy with your decision.

We had an amazing stay at Kim’s house! Everything was perfect. The house is so nice: spacious bedrooms and bathrooms, fully stocked kitchen, great porch overlooking the lake. The house also came with everything we needed for a fun weekend on the lake. They had plenty of towels and floats plus the kayaks, paddle boards and floating pad. I can’t say enough good things about it! On top of the fantastic house, Kim went above and beyond to accommodate our group and was a quick communicator. Between the house and the level of service, you won’t find a better stay on Lake Tuscaloosa!
