Preserved Old City Hall is a historic city landmark with a lot of old stories to tell. Eber Culver, one of Williamsport’s foremost architects, designed the five-story building of yellow brick trimmed in stone with molded brick ornamentation and terra cotta columns. Built in 1893, it features two towers: a large rectangular tower and a smaller octagonal tower, both of which have been incorporated into the hotel’s unique design. The building was added to the National Register of Historic Pla “Death makes no conquest of these conquerors, for now they live in fame, though not in life.” The Grand Army of the Republic answered with their blood when the Republic called. We want to honor these heroic dead, as well as the veterans of all wars and the Allied Orders of the GAR, who initially dedicated our Civil War bugler over 120 years ago.

My room was beautiful and a good size for me and my 5 month old son. The only probably was we were on the first floor by the entrance and my son woke up every time someone came in the door and voices really echoed
Nice place. Works like a hotel. Could not control temperature in room. Other than that no issues
Very nice place! The outside is beautiful, as pictured. It’s well lit at night. There’s motion nights inside the hallway as well. We stayed in the G.A.R. Room 103 and it was really nice. It was clean, but there were a few gnats flying around I spotted two small bugs in the bathroom. One reason I got the room was because of the window curtain. We like to sleep in the dark, but there is a small window in the corner that you face while you sleep and it doesn’t have a curtain. It wasn’t terrible, just not ideal. Honestly, my biggest issue was the AC didn’t work in our room. We turned it all the way down and nothing happened. So it got hot at night, but not unbearable. Texting through the phone number was the best communication. Whoever I spoke to was wonderful. Check-in was a breeze. Overall, the hotel was beautiful and I would stay here again!
This sprawling building is original on the outside and beautifully remodeled inside. The bathroom was spotless. Contactless self check in could not be easier.
