This is a lovely venue in a great location in the heart of Arundel - we really enjoyed being able to walk everywhere for the weekend, visiting the castle and the lido which opened up again for the season. The house is full of character, and very nicely decorated. Simple Escapes are very organised and proactive on communications, so it was very clear how to find the place, how to get in etc On the downside, it really is tiny and the living spaces not really big enough for the 4 adults and 3 children we had. And my biggest gripe is that the cleaning fees of £200 for a 2 night stay turned a reasonable price into something which felt too much. At almost £500 per night we would have expected more of a 5* quality and service - for example a basic bundle of milk and bread to get you started (the individual milk portions were off). While I know not uncommon, I also think a 10am checkout on a Sunday morning is a bit antisocial! We did enjoy our stay in Arundel, but probably wouldn't rebook.

The photos don’t do this place justice . Beautiful house, views and location! The interior and finish on the house is lovely . I think the kitchen lets it down a little , apart from the size of it , it looks like an ikea kitchen fitted purely for purpose . It does not match the period features of the house . But we would come back , the rest do the house is stunning!

Lovely place, in an amazing location. Very clean and well kempt.
