I took a lastminute flight Houston after my mother passing. The location said near downtown, but was in rundown, sketchy neighborhood of 5th Ward. We sat in car for 5 minutes because a group of dogs were barking at car. Finally was able to get out the car and get in gate. I have two little girls so they were really scared from the looks of the neighbors and then the dogs. The next day I found out my mothers funeral couldn’t be held within the requested stay, so asked for a refund . We ended up only staying there for 2 hours because my girls were so scared and the train noise gave just made my headache worse after a long day of funeral planning. I ask the host and submitted a request for a refund and she inconsiderately denied any portion of a refund ,twice. Super disappointed as an avid AirBNB investor. I had to fly to Arizona the next day to work. She still denied the refund. As a business owner I would never put money before the customer welfare especially under my circumstances.

Stephanie was always responsive we ran in from October through December never had any issues the house is nice clean and convenient when we come back to Houston I will definitely book with Stephanie again her house was adorable and Felt like home

Stephanie, was a very sweet host. She called to check in with me and my friend when we arrived. House was very clean and located anywhere between 15-30min of places we were visiting. There is a train that passes behind the house most of the day, so if you’re a light sleeper I wouldn’t recommend. Definitely would recommend this stay!
