We had a short stay at Shane's Lake side property as a family with 3 young kids. It was a family event that took us to the area. The area is lovely and the view here was fantastic. Kids enjoyed exploring. A little dangerous as garden not enclosed but we knew this in advance as it was clearly shown in the photos. Property is dated so could be cold. Not an issue for us. Heating worked well and plenty of hot water. We found beds very clean and comfy. Shower we used was fantastic, there's a giant bath also. Appliances even if a little old, were in perfect working order and spotless. Shane was always available, and we appreciated everything.

We had a lovely stay in the Lakehouse. The setting was beautiful and peaceful. The house had everything you needed and was bright clean and very spacious. Each of the three large bedrooms had its own en suite with showers (all working) and one with a bath also, there was 4th toilet in the utility/boiler room. The house was lovely and warm and the central heating was set to come on for a few hours in the morning and evening. Hot water was plentiful. There was a stove in the living room if you wanted to use that (you just need to buy fuel in the local garage - we bought at the Circle K in Headford which also had a good size shop and was open until midnight and 24 hours for petrol/diesel). There was a huge Tesco in Headford which was handy. Cleaning products, soap, toilet rolls all provided. Shane was very responsive with any queries. We would definitely recommend this property.

Very beautiful area and place. However, the floors did not seem clean and there were bugs everywhere. My bathroom’s light only worked half the time. The place was also freezing. Host was amazing, very easy to communicate with.
