A stones throw from the open forest (with its ponies, donkeys cattle, pigs and deer) and a short stroll from Lyndhurst’s high street, Apple Cottage boasts a coveted 4* visit England rating and is perfectly located for exploring the New Forest. It is light and airy and furnished to a high standard.: The cottage has a spacious lounge/dining room with wood burner, modern kitchen, 3 bedrooms (1 downstairs), downstairs toilet, utility/boot room, a sunny patio, off road parking and free wifi. . Apple Cottage has a contemporary but welcoming feel and boasts a full range of modern kitchen appliances, oversized bedding , quality towels, flat screen tv and everything that you need from a holiday home. Up to two well behaved dogs over the age of 1 year are welcome at the property and there is a travel cot and high chair available on request.

Thank you Julie for a lovely stay in your cottage. The prosecco and chocolates were a very nice gift and the tulips in vase on the dining table a welcome touch. We were pleasantly surprised at how large and spacious the cottage was. The cloakroom are by the backdoor was ideal for our boots and coats. And plenty of table/glassware. A very quiet residential road with an assortment of older properties and less than very easy short walk into town, no more than 10 minutes. Ideal location for the places we wanted to visit. Wish we could have stayed longer.
Nice cottage in a good location within easy walking distance of the Lyndhurst high street. Would recommend for a stay in the area
We loved our stay at Apple Cottage, only a few minutes walk from the high street and surrounded by lots of amazing walks! Julie was a brilliant host and went out of her way to help us and make us feel welcome
The house was lovely, perfect for a group of friends for a long weekend. Beautiful village with gift shops and cafes.
This is a perfect base for exploring the New Forest. It is a nice sized cottage with all basic amenities. It is literally a few minutes walk to the centre of Lyndhurst and very dog friendly, which is what we wanted. Note, the outside space is really very small and not at all private, which might have been an issue for us if we had stayed in the summer.
