I enjoyed my stay here the staff were friendly, but they could really do with long length mirrors in the rooms for when your getting ready! Also my room was very dark not much natural lighting coming in which made it difficult when getting ready after sunset. Also they have the power off for an hour or two in the afternoon to give the generator a rest. Otherwise this was a very pleasant stay for a fair price in that location! Thank you 🙏🏽💜

Solid place to stay in the beach/hotel areas of Tulum. The lock didn’t really work, which was a little scary. They also ran out of comforters and housekeeping ended up removing ours from the bed, so we were super cold overnight (the AC works almost too well and doesn’t really regulate). Otherwise, it was fine to stay here!

Ce fut une réservation, déception sur déception… Grosse arnaque ! Nous avons payé 700€ pour 4 nuits ce qui était hors de nos moyens, mais lorsque j’ai réservé les dates se sont modifiées et le prix a monté .. impossible d’annuler ma réservation. J’ai du faire un crédit pour payer cet hôtel. Personne n’a jamais répondu à mes messages.. Pour commencer Hôtel introuvable, l’entrée est bouchée par des véhicules. Il y a l’équivalent de 6 habitations, toutes les unes contre les autres. La chambre est ouverte de baies vitrée avec seulement un petit rideau transparent .. autant dire qu’en terme d’intimité c’est raté.. on entend tout et on voit tout.. et là lumière constante.. impossible de dormir plus tard que le lever de soleil.. Bruit de moteur de Clim, bruit de pas au dessus de nos têtes… Nous avons dû louer un autre hôtel sans pouvoir se faire rembourser une petite partie, un séjour de 4 jours a 1000€ qui aura bien ruiné nos vacances.

Origen is exactly what it claims to be. It’s a very peaceful and private jungle getaway. We got there a little before check in and they let us leave our bags while we explored the recommendations they gave us. It’s about a minute walk from the beach, but you need to enter through a restaurant/hotel (just patronizing them once should do the trick). We had no issues walking through everyday. Very helpful front desk. Antonio was responsive. Thanks again for a great stay!

Place was great, staff was super friendly. No beach access from the hotel but would visit Origen again .
