Escape to The Foxes Den luxury safari tent- cocooning and cosy, expect a beautiful warm interior with lots of space. The kitchen and dining area extends out to your sheltered veranda, a tranquil outlook, with wildlife pond and quaint summerhouse. The Foxes Den Safari tent, has 2 seperate bedrooms, bedroom 1 has handcrafted kingsize bed and bedroom 2 a double bed with single bunk over. The bedrooms have cosy cabin walls, luxury bedding and twinkling fairy lights. There is a luxury bathroom in the tent complete with power shower and heated towel rail. There is an open plan living area including dining table , sofa, log burning stove and mini kitchen with fridge, hob ,microwave and all the kitchen essentials. The tent has a very special outside space, with sheltered veranda complete with rattan furniture, private firepit and bbq area. "This is an amazing place, great to sit back and relax with all the amenities that you could ever want for, nature at your doorstep. We had a great stay at Little North Field. The accommodation has wooden floors and inner walls but the external walls and roof is canvas. When the temperature drops at night, the tent is kept warm by the wood burner fireplace. There is a weber provided and also a firepit outside. Accommodation comes with everything you need including wood and firelighters, fitted kitchen, tea/coffee/sugar etc, inside bathroom with good shower and comfortable bedding, towels and good furnishings with lots of personal little touches. The kitchen has 2 fast heating plates, but no oven. However, there is a microwave. There are also various outdoor games provided and an excellent flat lawn for children to play. One thing to be aware of depending on your network you might experience low reception (I have EE and it was fine but Vodafone seems to be patchy) and there is no wifi - so we had a very good digital detox for a few days :). There is also no TV which was great and we did not miss it in the slightest. Just bring your suitcase, book, camera, food and good campsite stories! Thanks Catherine and Tim!
Another fabulous stay. Glamping at its best! Set in beautiful surrounding and close to many lovely walks, sights and tourist attractions.

Had a lovely weekend with friends. First time spent in safari tents and we would definitely return. The tent was spotless and the host lovely and friendly. We all had a fantastic time!!
We had a wonderful stay here. The accommodation was outstanding and Catherine and her family are excellent hosts. We will certainly return for another trip here, highly recommended if you want a brilliant glamping experience.

Hedgehog Hideaway is set within the paddock of our family home, with just 3 bespoke safari tents - Little North Field Glamping. There is ample car parking, the tents are accessed by a gravel path, wheelbarrows provided to transport your luggage to your tent.
There is a pub just over the road, serving delicious homemade meals, take away fish and chips are very popular on Friday evenings.
Hedgehog Hideaway is just off Fountains Road most places need to be accessed via car.
Hedgehog Hideaway is set within a golden triangle of Harrogate, Knaresborough, Ripon, Pateley Bridge centrally located and so very easy to access so many beautiful towns and villages.
The world heritage site Fountains Abbey is just down the road.
Little North Field is located on Fountains Road and best accessed by car.
The nearest bus stop with excellent bus links to Harrogate/Ripon/Leeds is 1 1/2 miles away at Ripley.
The nearest train stations are Harrogate/Knaresborough both approximately 6 miles away.
Taxis can be booked from Harrogate/Ripon or Knaresborough.
Walking there are lots of public paths to access from The Chequers pub just over the road to explore the local area.
