Authentic Native American Tipi! Enjoy a peaceful, unique camping experience from the historic past. Here you can enjoy hiking, waterfalls, biking, canoeing / kayaking, fishing, swimming and more. At days end, return for a cookout under the stars followed by a warm relaxing campfire in the tipi as you drift off to sleep. Also, Marijuana is legal in Michigan, so you are welcome to enjoy a "peace pip" full, around the campfire. We provide the Lodge, a port-o-potty and water. All else you bring. This site is "primitive" meaning there is no running water, no electricity and no flushing toilets. You will have a Large, 20 foot Tipi, three camp fire pits, drinking / wash water and one port-a-pot (with paper) to use as a bathroom. You will need to bring food, bedding, dishes, pots and cooking utensils. If you are an experienced camper you will find this site delightful. If you have never camped before or very little, please watch a few videos on the subject before booking this site. Groups of up to 10 people are welcome. The Tipi can realistically sleep 4 comfortably. For more than 4 people, Guests are encouraged to bring extra tents they can pitch around the Tipi. Come, create your own village and hang out with family and friends.
