Everything was absolutely perfect! It was exactly what we were looking for and we had an amazing time!
What a wonderful place! Beautiful views! Lots of room for a large group/family, with plenty of room! Close to Waynesville, too, which is a cute mountain town with great restaurants and shops. We enjoyed the hot tub and outdoor cooking area. This is a fabulous place to take your group! We loved it!
I wish the system would allow me to give 6 stars My extended family had a delightful stay at Leaping Fawn Lodge. We enjoyed everything in the house and property over the long weekend. We especially enjoyed the character of each room. There was plenty of space for our large group to spread out between the multiple decks. The younger folks made great use of the Viking room for billiards and card games. We adventured to explore the beautiful grounds and saw breathtaking views of the mountain scenery. Julie is a fabulous host. She was super responsive in her communications and made everything run smoothly. I highly recommend this property.
Property as described, had a good time. Wonderful views and secluded in the best way. Everything here is built out with high quality. Everything was clean, met descriptions and expectations. Only item to be aware of is that one can hear the highway noise from The Valley. Overall, a great time.
Though boasting both seclusion and tranquility, this property is also close to some of the area's top attractions! Head into quaint downtown Waynesville to stroll the charming streets and find the perfect souvenir in the boutique shops! Dine at Sweet Onion or Bogart's steak house.
Head into Great Smoky Mountain National Park to hike to some of the area's most beautiful waterfalls, and soak in the vibrant fall colors. Blue Ridge Parkway begins only 35 miles from the house and offers 469 miles of mountain views, valleys and countryside.

The Maggie Valley ski mountain boasts a terrain park, 17 ski slopes, snow tubing and lights on all runs for night skiing! Visit Asheville to tour the Biltmore Estate before perusing the arts, dining and architecture downtown.
