Very quiet and peaceful area and cabin. The view of the lake was amazing. Had some good restaurants nearby and was an easy drive to local attractions.

This cottage is rustic but cozy and has all the modern amenities you need. It's not fancy by any means, but it was clean. I was really worried about bugs/pests, being right on the water, and being an older cottage but we had no issues! The wifi was great and my teenager spent his downtime playing video games with his friends on his laptop and had no connectivity issues. Could definitely work from home here if needed. And there are so many videos (DVD and VHS) and board games, my younger child had a blast exploring them. We watched several movies and played approx. 5,000 rounds of Hangman! My only recommendation is to make sure you have sandals/water shoes to wear to the lake, as there is a pretty large goose population who like to "go" in people's yards. We shoo'ed them away twice in the few days we were there. Certainly not the owner's fault. Just lake life!
