Cobblestone Cottage is a perfect haven on the lake. It is a fun "beach cottage" with the coziness of a home. We were four staying there, but managed to fit seven around the table for dinner when other family members came to see us. As for the location, you have to see it to believe it. Lake Ontario is right across the road -- with incredible sunsets and waves on the rocky shoreline. And - an added plus -- the most comfortable beds we've ever slept in at a rental. 5-star for sure!

This was a fishing cottage. Good for fisherman. I wanted to stay in that exact location it was good for me. It isn't good for a family that wants to hang.. There is no where to just hang in the house. The living room / tv area is a converted old porch. Tiny and narrow. With a small chair and thin couch. No one can hang in there. The dining room has a large table and a few chairs. Totally dark and uncomfortable. All of the curtains are dirty and unmatched. The whole cabin is dark and dreary. Too much oversized furniture with zero function. If you were a few guys fishing you may NOT care. For my use .. A funeral of someone who valued that exact area. It was perfect for me.

Great place for our family of 4. Beautiful place to have coffee and sit and watch the lake from the front yard. Idyllic. Beds were very comfortable.

We had a great stay! The house was clean and comfortable with a view that could not be beat. While it is an older house, the bathroom and kitchen appliances were updated and the beds/linens were hotel quality. I only wish it was bigger and accepted dogs.🙂 Highly recommend!
