Staying at CVI was the perfect escape. Tucked away on a serene farm, the Chef's Suite offered a calming weekend to get away. Kim was an exceptional host who helped make the stay even more memorable with our special requests. We opted to get the Farmhouse Breakfast Basket and Dinner Service, which was well more than enough delicious food for the weekend. My only complaint is that we couldn't take the leftovers back with us. The cabin offered plenty of privacy and it was the perfect time of the year for us to leave the windows open all evening for the cool breeze. You can see every star in the sky at night from the deck. The farm is remarkable on its own, but staying there was an absolute treat.

We were amazed to have found this beautiful place, and further amazed that it was available for the Eclipse on April 8th. It is certainly out of the ordinary. Our stay was inside the Culinary Institute, in a very private second floor suite with a full kitchen, full bath with shower, and huge jacuzzi tub. The full length balcony in the rear came complete with binoculars for bird watching. Our stay was in early April, so not too many birds, and of course the grounds were in the very early stages of spring, so not too much foliage or blooming perennials, that I am sure were there. It is otherwise a very impressive site, with huge greenhouses in which they must grow vegetables year round. There are also several bee hives, and they do have honey and related items for sale. It is difficult to describe how unique the Institute is, and it is quite open for guests to respectfully explore. Seeing the hatchlings inside the front door, we knew we were in a special place. It did not disappoint.

Great place to stay! went in winter, would love to go back in summer I'm sure it's beautiful! Had the dinner service, everything was delicious. The complimentary breakfast basket was amazing. Would highly recommend this private wonderful place.

What a wonderful experience. A beautiful place, great friendly, staff, and delicious food. We even had peacocks sleeping on our balcony at night. The room was so comfortable. Grounds are beautiful and the food was delicious. It was definitely a treat.

This is my second stay here and it equalled if not exceeded my previous stay. We enjoyed a fabulous dinner basket. It's well worth the add on cost. Bring take away containers because you won't be able to eat everything. This is a foodie dream and it's like living in a gourmet restaurant, with Chef's Table privileges. This is a hidden gem and once youv'e found it, you'll keep coming back. One stay and you're family.
