POSITIVES - great location - the host was away ( which I guess it's the rule when renting the place out) so you get the benefit of a large private garden - the summer house is a teenagers entertainment area so you get the benefit of a A. pool table B. large TV with Netflix access C. Strong sound system. - place is really well looked after, host is hands on attentive and responsive ; NEGATIVES to get in the bedroom you need to climb on a steep wooden ladder. the bedroom area is really tiny, and low; you can't stand; so basically you need to shuffle on hands and knees from the ladder to the bed. ( not great therefore for an elderly couple or if you have issues with your back or knees ! ). Unless you are young and nimble going to the loo in the middle of the night can be a hazard! Overall considering the other perks, location and communication it was a very good place. Recommended

We had a fantastic stay at Sue & Peter’s place. Beautiful location, great accommodation, walking distance into Lyndhurst. Pool table was an added bonus! Sue & Paul were most affable. We would definitely return without a doubt. Only slight inconvenience for the taller guests is the reduced headroom in the mezzanine area but, I wouldn’t let that put you off!

Beautiful luxurious barn in the heart of the New Forest. It was spotless, stunning and so comfy to arrive home to from a long forest walk. Close enough to walk into town to have the well deserved meal and drink. Lovely place!

We had a lovely weekend in the barn. The barn was lovely and cosy and the warmth very welcoming on arrival. It was spacious with a very comfortable sofa and bed and was just as described on the listing. Sue was an accommodating host, allowing us to store our bikes in their shed. Lyndhurst was a great base for exploring the New Forest and the barn is in a beautiful setting. We met ponies outside on both days we were there. I would recommend it as a lovely place to stay in the New Forest and would happily return.

We were looking for accommodation and a base for a long weekend in the New Forest and we were fortunate to find Sue’s place. Ideal location with everything we needed in a stunning and quiet location as well as being very clean & comfortable. Lots of walks on the doorstep but also only a 30 minute drive to the likes of Southbourne and Boscombe. Sue was a perfect host and could not have done any more. Personal tour on arrival and also advice on places to eat / visit. Very enjoyable stay.
