I was expecting a much better time. Matthew was very dismissive and condescending. We had a very serious issue concerning one of his tenants that stayed in the house. He left the conversation, never returned, and did nothing to accommodate for the horrible experience. He also “forced” us to pay for an additional day even though his listing had no minimum nights stay on the app. If we didn’t stay the additional night, he threatened to cancel my entire reservation. I was surprised at how things turned out and truly hope for a better experience elsewhere.

If you are looking for a clean and comfortable place to sleep that is within biking distance of the beach, Matthew’s place is it. Quiet, easy and affordable. I don’t know that I would have wanted to hang out there, just because it felt like someone else’s home (I’m a bit shy, so maybe others would feel comfortable), but I was truly just looking for a place to sleep after spending the day on beach and bike, and it worked just beautifully. Super neat and clean, and with a very sweet little dog and a friendly cat. And the price is right.
