We were looking for a peaceful break with no traffic, people, electronics, or man-made noises in the vicinity, and that’s exactly what we got. We also got beautiful scenery, and a remote, rustic cabin with a great central air system and plenty of everything we needed. If you have a problem with NE-Texas-level humidity, wasps, bugs, spiders, no WiFi, spotty cell service, or woods instead of a yard, this may not be the place for you. However, Bryan provides a great a/c system to deal with the indoor climate as well as wasp spray and insect repellent. We had a great time, highly recommend The Roost, and hope to return.
