K’s cottage was cozy, private and peaceful. Everything was very clean and she thought of all the amenities that anyone may need, including a very well-stocked kitchen. The view of the lake is beautiful!! I highly recommend booking a stay.

My husband and I went to Maine for the eclipse as it was on the same day as his 30th birthday. We had an amazing time!! K is a very kind host who made everything super easy and contactless, as my husband and I still take Covid precautions seriously. She also left recommendations for local places as well as delicious donuts for us! I loved our weekend getaway and can’t wait to come back here in the summertime! Thanks again, K!!!

Kay is an accommodating and communicative host. The cottage is a quiet, comfortable respite from the fast paced frenzy in which we find ourselves. Our experienced at this location are always enjoyable and memorable.

The cottage was absolutely perfect for us as our "home base" for the 8 days we spent in Maine. The space was very cozy, with a very nice kitchen fully supplied with all cooking tools, stove and other amenities you'd come to expect in a home away from home. During our stay, we enjoyed taking in many sites on various drives throughout the week, but have to say the biggest highlight of the trip for us was actually just nestling up in the cabin, enjoying the beautiful view of the lake which was a short distance from the back porch, cooking meals, catching up on some good movies, and of course sleeping in nearly daily! Highly recommended for anyone looking for a quiet "getaway" well off the beaten path. K the host was very easy to communicate with as well, and she even left some fresh chocolate chip cookies on the kitchen table to greet us upon arrival, which was very much welcomed after the long drive there. We'll definitely be looking to return for Fall to take in the foliage!!
