Beautiful cabin in a beautiful setting. Hiking galore in the area. Would have like to use the wood burning stove in the living room but they had it blocked off with an electric fireplace insert sitting in front. We did enjoy the outdoor fire pit and it was nicely set up for us for the first fire. Kitchen was cluttered and many cupboards locked so there was no where to store the food we brought except on the countertops which were already busy. Overall would highly recommend this cabin if you are looking for a place to get away from it all.

Kathy’s place was exactly what my husband and I needed - a quiet, peaceful place to relax. It’s a magical spot. We loved that it was dog friendly and we were able to bring our pup with us. The view of Lake Huron is amazing, which you can see from the hot tub. The entire property is beautiful and the house is very well decorated/designed and clean. It’s a great central location - quick drive to the national park, Singing Sands and Tobermory. I would recommend this place to everyone I know!

Thoughtful hosts who communicate well and were so considerate. The cabin was immaculate and comfortable. The scenery was beautiful, the sound of the the lake on the rocks out front was unique and therapeutic. Thank you for a memorable stay and much needed reprieve.

The cottage was amazing. The views, wildlife and outdoor spaces were so inviting. Indoors was rustic, cozy and well laid out with all the amenities that one would hope for. Our group thoroughly enjoyed themselves. There were many special touches that showed the effort the hosts went to, to make our stay enjoyable.

I think this was described somewhere on the listing as a “magical cabin on the water” and it is 100% true, this is a very special spot! We came over the thanksgiving weekend, and it couldn’t have been a more beautiful weekend. The cabin is so comfortable and cozy, and the outdoor property is beautiful with so many spots set up so you can just enjoy it, its’s really a great place to enjoy the beauty of Lake Huron and all that Tobermory has to offer. Kathy was a wonderful host, very welcoming and communicative and the place was spotless when we arrived.
