Nice balcony with a view of the pool and the beach. We really like Cancun Plaza. The place was clean, the internet works well, as does the ac.

This was a good stay on a budget. This is a somewhat dated condo complex with some units owner occupied. You will see similar listings on here with varying levels of quality - all depends on how each unit is kept up. That being said, Mauricio's unit was great - recently remodeled and clean. It had a beautiful view of the ocean and pool. We were there new years eve and got to see fireworks from the balcony. The pool was nice but the beach is not great for swimming as the waves are rough and some parts are rocky. There is a restaurant/bar next to the pool but the food was meh. There's also a charming little tiki themed restaurant across the street ~ a 10 minute walk south which is owner run/operated. For good authentic food - hop on the R1/R2 busses ( for only a $1 ) and ride it to the north end of the hotel strip (near the shopping malls) or go downtown. Mauricio was available by WhatsApp whenever we had questions, and also recommended a few places. If you need covid tests - the front desk offers in-room service but it was a little pricey - $50 usd to book the house call for the Dr. and $35 / antigen test. Results sent via email within 3 hours. For cheaper options - hop on the bus and visit the many covid-testing booths along the main strip. Overall - good experience ;)

We has an amazing stay and loved the easy access to beach. Mauricio was very helpful and helped us book the covid testing right at our room. Will definitely visit again.
