Fab u lous! This accommodation is excellent for 10 people, lots of space, spotlessly clean, lovely big drive for everyone's cars, tastefully furnished and decorated. We absolutely recommendation.

relaxing, rural, friendly atmosphere comfortable and welcoming but beware of the midges couldn,t sit out or play at certain times of the day. everything we needed and more in the way of kitchen equipment the children even baked a cake.

Our group of 4 adults, 5 kids and a dog, had a wonderful stay at Woodlands in July 2020. Despite some lockdown and social distancing rules to observe our host made us feel welcome and provided all the info we needed promptly via email. The house was very clean and cosy and well equipped. We had plenty of space, in fact the interior exceeded our expectations. The location was great for what we wanted, which was to explore the outdoors (hillwalking, running, mountain biking & wild swimming). It was easy to find as it is close to the road, it is worth noting that the main road, while not overly busy, is quite a fast road. We really enjoyed the spacious secure and enclosed outdoor area and the games hut too - we played many games of tig, darts, pool and basketball. We walked and cycled from the front door many times, (taking care crossing the main road, or taking the pavement). The quiet road to Ratagan was lovely for an easy family bike ride. The house had plenty of hot water and towels and the main bathroom had a fabulous bath. There was plenty of bathrooms/toilets for us all. The kitchen was huge and well stocked with utensils/pans etc. There were 2 fridges and a large freezer, which we were grateful for as we brought most of our own food, and it all fitted easily. The washing machine and dishwasher made our holiday much easier too. The living room is huge and has an open fire and plenty of comfy seating and there was Netflix available which the kids liked! Overall, we all had a really wonderful holiday and would be keen to return.
