Grange Pierre is one of two properties at Pouroutounat, about 4km from Mirepoix in peaceful countryside. It has a large (12m x 6m) heated swimming pool (shared with the Farmhouse). The two properties can be reserved as a whole, to ensure private access to the pool. There are three good sized bedrooms and two bathrooms (one ensuite). There is a large well equipped kitchen, dining table for 6 and a large lounge with 3 sofas. The property has a washing machine and drying area, and covered parking. From a converted barn in 2012, this property is modern yet tasteful, with exposed stone walls and large wood beams. The kitchen is equipped with a 90cm gas cooker, a Bosch dishwasher and large fridge freezer, Senseo coffee maker, as well as many other high quality utensils and equipment. There is a private outside eating area for the Grange, and easy access to the charcoal BBQ at the poolhouse, where there is dining space for up to 16 guests. TV (French and UK) and a bluetooth speaker are in the property. 4G wifi is available. **New for 2022** we have added a private picnic table (with Parasol) and gas BBQ exclusively for the guests in Gange Pierre

Hemos estado alojados 4 noches y la estancia ha sido muy buena. La casa está totalmente equipada, no le falta detalle y el propietario Jon fue atento en todo momento y muy amable con toda la familia. Tuvimos una ola de calor pero la preciosa zona de la piscina y barbacoa hicieron nuestra estancia más refrescante y divertida. La casa tiene zona verde para disfrutar y jugar a ping pong, tiro arco, fútbol, badmington, etc. y los alrededores y las puestas de sol increíbles desde allí. Totalmente recomendable!! Muchas gracias por todo Jon y por la botella de vino 😊!! Totalmente recomendable

Nous sommes venu en vacances à 7 (4 adultes et 3 enfants) le logement est parfaitement adaptés au famille. Les enfants ont adoré jouer au foot, aller à la piscine. Il y a énormément de chose à faire et à visiter. Le logement est bien situé mais il faut vraiment être véhicule (voiture, vélo..). Jon et Vicky sont des hôtes très accueillants chaleureux et de bon conseil pour ce qui a à faire au alentours. Nous avons eu le droit à un succulent gâteau au citron. Je vous recommande cette location.

Lovely place to spend some days with the family. The house is well equipped and has all the amenities you need, plus there is a beautiful garden with lots to do. The surroundings are peaceful and quite, with lovely scenery. Joanthan and Vicky were lovely and helped in any way they could, you can't go wrong with their place!

Mirepoix is just 4.5km away. It is a beautiful medieval town, with a bustling square with numerous bars and restaurants. There is a fantastic market every Monday morning, and two good supermarkets for stocking up on essentials.
The Pyrenees are only 30 minutes away by car, and Andorra can be reached in under 2 hours, for duty free shopping. There are many things to do in the area - horse-riding, kayaking, tree-top climbing, parapenting, parachuting, fishing, tennis and cycling - we have 4 mountain bikes that clients can borrow. We also have an outdoor table tennis table in the garden, as well as a badminton net.
The countryside around the house is home to deer, sanglier, foxes and badgers, as well as numerous birds of prey.

A car is essential. We are one hour from Toulouse Blagnac Airport, and 35 minutes from Carcassonne Airport. Rail stations are available at Castelnaudary, Bram and Pamiers.
