We really enjoyed our stay at the earthship! It’s such a unique dwelling that is rustic but cozy at the same time. There is a lot of attention to detail and it really feels like home! The kitchen was well stocked and the bed was extremely comfortable. I loved the sunny greenhouse and the stars at night were incredible. We had to be conservative with the hot water, but it was worth it to stay in such a cool place and to be aware of the preciousness of water in the desert. Would love to come back here!

Very interesting place to stay! Great views and very quiet area! You are a bit of a drive to things, but not a big problem overall and that’s obvious when you book the place, so not a shock. It could have been user error but the shower turns ice cold in a minute or two so don’t plan to take a warm shower.

Awesome way to experience an earth ship! The house itself is beautiful and has all the comforts of home. Truly one of the coziest and nicest places we have ever rented through Airbnb. There was plenty of good information on Taos, New Mexico, and earth ships, and we also would recommend going next door to the Earthship Biotecture organization to learn even more about the wonders of earth ships. The surrounding desert nature is serene and quiet, and the drive to town is stunning. We are already planning our next stay at the ship.
