Church Cottage is a pretty character cottage with original features set in the beautiful Monmouthshire countryside with outstanding views. There is a private small driveway for one car. On entering the Cottage a porch leads into a large fitted kitchen diner. There is a spacious sitting room with wood burner. Upstairs there is a double bedroom with king size bed, second bedroom with two single beds, a bathroom and there is also a single bed privately sectioned off on the landing. The cottage has a small outdoor paved area with table and chairs overlooking the stunning countryside towards Raglan, which is famous for Raglan Castle. Raglan is 2 miles away from the cottage and has everything you need from pubs, an hotel/restaurant, an award winning butchers, amazing fish and chip shop, local petrol station, pharmacy and grocery store/newsagent/post office. The cottage is very quaint with original features and has a very cosy and calm feel. Due to the age of the cottage the stairs are narrow and fairly steep. The wood burner is a welcome addition to come back to for all those out walking or cycling during the chillier days! The main bedroom is a beautiful room with a king size bed from where you can enjoy the beautiful vista. The second bedroom is set up with two single beds. This space is ideal for either children or a couple. There is also a single bed on the landing which is screened to give privacy. The bathroom has a powerful shower which is over the bath with a glass folding shower screen. In addition there is oil fired central heating and an excellent 4G phone signal. Well behaved dogs are welcome by prior arrangement only. Dogs are not allowed on any furniture. Directions to the cottage will be emailed to guests in advance, along with the keylock number.
