Kay is the best host! She’s a tremendous cook. And her coffee is to die for! This was our fourth or fifth stay with her and we’ll be back soon!
Amazing place to stay. Exactly as pictured, breakfast was incredible! The room was very nice, very roomy, incredible decor and quiet. Great place and highly recommend.
Great location, great host! We loved the beautiful home & room. Decor was amazing, bed was comfortable & shower was hot with good pressure. All around wonderful experience! We will be back, for sure.
Kay and Kevin have an absolute lovely bed and breakfast that pictures simply cannot oversell - a wonderful rarity on Airbnb. They are top-tier hosts, friendly but giving plenty of space to guests. Breakfast was delicious and served both elegantly and pleasantly. The history of the house is very interesting for those who enjoy learning more about a property and area - Kay and Kevin are clearly committed to being responsible caretakers and are happy to share stories with those who ask. Overall, we had a lovely two night stay. We definitely plan on returning again when travels take us to the area

Kevin and Kay Sonnenburg have dreamed about owning a bed and breakfast for the past 30 years. The dream began after they stayed in one themselves. Now they want to pass on to you the satisfying experience of staying in their historic home, which has been a labor of love for them both. Kevin, a history buff and experienced carpenter with a sharp eye for detail, attentively brought the home back to its original feel while updating it with all the modern conveniences. Kay, with her passion for colors and textures, carefully selected vintage furnishings and embellishments that make this house a home filled with history. They promise warm hospitality and lively conversation over a delectable breakfast.
