Can't say enough how much we loved it here! All the staff are so kind and helpful. The view is just beautiful and we even had mule deer walking around right outside the patio window. Just a heads up the address on this listing takes you to a mile marker several miles away from the place, put in Great Sand Dunes Lodge into your maps instead! Also make sure you bring food with, there is nothing available for a 30 minute drive away. The lodge sometimes has pizzas to buy but its unreliable, we were planning on that for dinner but the day we were there they didn't get any in.

We stayed here for only one night but the views were incredible. This is a great place to stay at if you want to be close to the sands dunes.
