Le Parcelle Ronce is only a short, level walk from the centre of the lovely village of Trémolat situated in the Périgord Noir area of the beautiful Dordogne valley. Trémolat is a medieval village of enormous charm and is home to the renowned Vieux Logis hotel with its fabulous Michelin star restaurant featured recently in Rick Stein's Secret France. We also have a traditional French bistro, a pizzeria, a cafe/wine bar selling regional produce, a village café, a boulangerie and a train station. The accommodation is located within the grounds of our old farmhouse, yet retains privacy with separate entrance and courtyard with views of and access into the large, level garden. There is private parking in front of the gite. The gite has a fully equipped kitchen with washing machine and dishwasher, shower room/ WC, a comfortably furnished lounge/dining room with satellite TV and a separate bedroom with either a superking bed or two singles and bathroom. The gite has a private courtyard with table and chairs, loungers and barbecue. Linen and a welcome pack are included.

The gîte is stylish, very clean and everything you need is in it. A big surprise was the huge number of clothing hangers :-) It's a beautiful quiet place with only a few staps to the village and where we even saw (from our private terrace) 2 deers in the garden! We loved our stay at Deborah and Laurent. Most friendly and helpful people. They respect people's privacy and when you need them they're there. Laurent thanks again for helping us with our car and Deborah thanks for the tip to attend the paella evening at the Café Village and all the other tips. Trémolat is a small and friendly village but in the area is a lot to do and to see. We loved our stay in this beautiful green area in this perfect gîte!
nous avons passé 2 semaines dans ce logement très calme, en pleine nature. Super accueil de Deborah et Laurent, à l'écoute tout au long du séjour. Gîte très propre et où il ne manque rien. Nous connaissions déjà le secteur autour de Sarlat et avions décidé de nous excentré cette fois ci entre Sarlat et Bergerac. Nous avons circulé un peu plus pour nous recentrer sur Bergerac, Issigeac, Le Bugue, Monpazier, Belves, Beynac. Belle région que nous avons bien sillonnée. vraiment un agréable séjour. NOUS RECOMMANDONS
Gite parfait ou rien ne manque. C'est un havre de paix surtout devant ce magnifique parc arbore. Deborah et son mari sont toujours disponible et de bon conseil. Vous pouvez y sejourner les yeux fermes, Nous esperons y retourner tres vite.
Deborah et Laurent, une Belle Rencontre dans un Pays Magnifique ! Leur Gite est confortable, bien agencé, joliment décoré, accueillant avec de délicates attentions .... au milieu d'un vaste terrain où si vous avez de la chance vous pourrez croiser des chevreuils et autres ! Ne pas louper un passage au mini Golf tenu par Deborah ! Une adresse sûre à ne pas louper. Le village deTremolat, assez paisible, propose pas moins de quatre possibilités de restauration du gastro aux tartines ! Il est bien placé pour visiter les merveilles à découvrir mais en une semaine, on ne peut tout voir, alors il faudra revenir et surement chez Deborah et Laurent. Un Grand Merci à vous deux

As well the restaurants mentioned above, Tremolat has its own 18 hole mini-golf with snack bar and bike hire. There is a small weekly market and the village hosts various seasonal activities including evening marchés gourmands with street food, brocantes and live music during the summer months.
We are ideally situated for discovering the culture and beauty of the Dordogne with a wealth of castles, bastide towns, caves (including the famous Lascaux) and gardens to visit. Both Sarlat, the most visited and renowned medieval town in the area and the beautiful villages of Domme and Montignac are less than an hour away.
Even closer is Les Eyzies-de-Tayac designated a UNESCO World Heritage site and closer still at only 7kms is the village of Limeuil classified as one of the most beautiful villages of France.
Slightly further afield are the beautiful vineyards of St Emilion and the lovely city of Bordeaux.
The area is also known for its wonderful markets including Issigeac and St Cyprien, both highly rated by locals and tourists alike.
Trémolat village is located beside the Dordogne river and is an excellent area for outdoor pursuits with its own water sports centre only a few hundred yards from the gite. The centre offers water-skiing as well as canoeing, kayaking and paddle-boarding. Cycling and walking are also popular activities in the area.
Tremolat has its own railway station with regular services to Sarlat la Caneda, the vineyards of St Emilion, Bordeaux and many more great destinations.
