This river retreat would have been perfect if the water was up. the drought this year has made things difficult. Even so the water and showers were available and very clean. Dale was very accommodating and Mona communicated with me quickly. I messed up on my arrival date and she offered to let me stay 2 days anyway. not many people are that fair. it is really a peaceful setting. I hope to go back soon.

We loved camping here! We were a little disappointed that the river was dry when we went but Mona did let us know right away and gave us a chance to cancel if we wished. It was a great place to stay with our son, lots of swings to play on and we even followed animal tracks around the dry river bed. Hopefully we can come back when the dam is open and the river is in!

The seasonal river is what brought us back to Mona’s campsites. Electricity and fridges are nice perks. The clean bathroom is definitely a welcoming sight. The best way to enjoy camping here is to book all 3 sites and have exclusivity to be river and the bathroom.

Can't get enough from this place. Whether you are looking for a place to just relax or maybe experience nature or get a thrill and swing to the river - it has it all! If that wasn't enough, Mona and Dale are constantly improving it. It is our second time and probably not the last ;) Thank you Mona and Dale.

Lovely spot, great for those who may still want the amenities of a bathroom and shower. It is pretty loud at night, but overall great stay.
