Elana was a great host and very helpful and responsive. She greeted us and helped with luggage. Also, she helped us find a babysitter for our children. She really went above expectations and the house was great with great views. It’s a little dated inside but overall was a great place to explore the city!

We were interested in visiting Cinque Terra for 5 days, but could not find quality accommodations. We then came across this listing in Santa Margarita and had many questions regarding the distance and travel to Cinque Terre. Elena could not have been more helpful. She patiently guided us, helping us understand the advantages of staying in Santa Margarita. It is an absolutely beautiful town with great restaurants, waterfront and laid back vibe. The town has great walks and easy access to both Portofino, a stunningly beautiful chic town (spectacular easy walk) and Cinque Terre. Elena provided dedicated parking. Interestingly, we never used the car for the five days we were there, as walking, ferries and trains were far more convenient than driving. Regarding the house, everything was perfect! A beautiful place with great views, easy walk to town although a slight uphill on return. Very quiet and private. Cannot thank Elana and Paul enough for facilitating a great vacation for us!

We had a wonderful time, the house is great and very near the port thanks to a small pathway. Elana is a great host, always free to help and answer the questions we had.
