Felicity is a very friendly and responsive host. Helpful messages leading up to our stay, and responsive throughout. The place however was disappointing as we were expecting a property "on the lake" and with access to the lake as it specified in the description. The house was far up the hill behind many other buildings, with only a sliver view of the lake in the distance, and we saw no apparent access to the lake across the road at the bottom of the hill. The property is more of a cabin than a midcentury modern house, musty with older furniture and a lack of seating to relax as a group. The jack-and-jill bathrooms are odd (walkthrough shower) which is fine, but the water pressure was so low the ladies could not wash their hair. The outdoor areas included a deck and a back patio with older furniture blanketed in leaves. The hot tub was a wooden barrel with no seating and no water, but we tried filling it to only find it leaking too fast to enjoy. A very disappointing weekend.

This is easily one of the coolest airbnbs I’ve ever stayed in. Felicity is so responsive and kind. The space is jaw-dropping. The instruments were a treat. Really can’t say enough about this place.

There’s nothing like summer in the fingerlakes. Location for us was good as family was right across the street. I’m not sure the hot tub was working however it was summer so not necessary. Overall was a positive stay.

What a joy! An unassuming gem of Aurora, hiding in the open on a sleepy dead end road near the south end of town. When you enter, you take a step back in time to the mid-century modern aesthetic out of the set of MadMen, or the home of your coolest aunt and uncle from the 60's. The record player and stack of vinyl help set the mood. All the bedrooms are big and comfortable, each with their own access to bathrooms. The common areas are laid out for a larger gathering, and offer a bookcase of reading material and games. The kitchen has all the essentials, and in keeping with the style of the home includes a fondue plate, which we filled with cheetos as a gag. A big stack of wood for the fire pit was very nice, as we did have a chilly night during our stay. Felicity our host was easy to communicate with, and very friendly and helpful. Such a good value for a beautiful part of the Finger Lakes region. Highly recommend.
