Cabin is very private and on a quiet bay with little traffic. Easy to get to by boat. Nice little off the grid get away.

This is a real find! Beautiful islands in an amazing lake. The area where the cabin is located can be a little buggy, but is definitely secluded. Landy was very helpful but I would recommend it only for people that are good at getting around on a motor boat on a very rocky lake. If you plan on a short stay it should be ok.

Landy's place was a quaint, and rustic cabin in the gorgeous and pristine setting of the Northwoods. We loved waking up to the fog rising from the Lake, and having our morning coffee by the water. Described as expected, with no electricity or running water we packed as if we were tent camping and we felt prepared for our stay. Our family stayed up late by the light of kerosene lamps playing cards. It was a great bonding experience and a welcome get away from wifi and technology. The boat rental was a plus, and locals were very friendly and welcoming to us.

Such a peaceful getaway! We loved elbow lake and exploring the area. Lots of of wildlife and great fishing. Landy ensured we had all that we needed and felt right at home! Highly recommend unwinding at self-care cabin!

This is a beautiful, remote spot: we spent three days paddling canoes, listening to loons, and looking at the stars. There are coves to explore by boat, wildlife, and deep silence. Highly recommended. Landy is an excellent, responsive host.
