Our family had a wonderful time at Carrie’s chalet! It was beautiful and peaceful. We enjoyed our time there, kayaking, walking, playing board games, having movie nights, the fire pit was a great place to have hotdogs and s’mores and hang out. We made lots of lasting memories thanks to Carrie’s thoughtfulness in preparation for our time there!

Words do not describe the generosity of Carrie and her beautiful chalet. It’s light and bright, spacious, decorated beautifully, but mostly it is the most equipped Airbnb that I have ever stayed in. I have been to many airbnbs, Carrie’s chalet is the most equipped like home. The kitchen has so much that you need for your stay, there are so many board games and books. Kayaks to enjoy, lovely fire area will fire wood provided. Private and surrounded by beautiful nature. We loved our stay. Thank you for being flexible and a a great communicator and a generous owner.

We hosted a retreat here and it was absolutely amazing. Everyone enjoyed the space so much, it felt so safe, beautiful, and peaceful - was just what we needed. We loved the kayaks, being by the water and trails, the restful and clean space and furniture and decor, the firepit, etc. it had everything we could want. The parking was easy, and the people at the front of the community were great to get our names and give us parking passes so it was super physically safe as well. The beautiful home created a wonderful environment for rest and made our retreat better, we had so much fun. Also, Carrie was so responsive the entire time. This was the first retreat we hosted, so I asked random misc questions to her over months and Carrie always responded within a few hours and was always willing to work with me, and provide helpful information and support. She was so accommodating and kind. I hope we can stay with Carrie again. This is truly a special place and you should stay here, it's a gem!

Carrie was easy to work with and proactive in sharing all the info we needed to have an stress-free weekend away in her cabin. Everything in the cabin was clean and well cared for, and we were comfortable right away. The guest book and emailed instructions were super helpful. This is a wonderful place for a quiet family or group getaway. It’s serene and right on the water, with areas to enjoy the outdoors along with comfortable amenities indoors. The newly paved driveway is great, and we had no trouble parking 6 sedans in the parking area. I would only hesitate to recommend this cabin if someone had disabilities, as there are rocky stairs to get to the house and steep stairs to most of the bedrooms.

This is a very cozy cabin packed with everything you need to enjoy your stay. This property was perfect for a winter getaway and we would definitely consider returning in the future. Thank you Carrie for sharing your cabin with us.
