It is a very quiet and relaxing place to stay in Maupin.

We have stayed here before, so we were familiar with the house and area. We had a great stay, loved the peace and quiet--it's April, so not busy season--and the view of the river. The house is clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. Perfect for the relaxing getaway we wanted. There are trains that come by a few times a day, but we don't find them intrusive at all.

A lovely spot along the river - we used the hot tub everyday and were thrilled to see a bald eagle just 15 feet from the deck! The cabin’s interior is comfortable and the kitchen well-prepped. Trains run right in front of the house but our girls were thrilled by the conductors waving & sounding their horns for them. We enjoyed the little town of Maupin, especially Honey Buns Coffee and the market. Altogether a great stay.
